The history of Bundalee Cabins

Created to service a niche market

Early 2007 Chris Pinkster had a brainwave regarding a new project, which involved designing and building two cabins on his property located in the outskirts of the scenic coastal town of Port Elliot, South Australia as holiday accommodation for the disabled. Due to the fact that 24% of the population has a disability, Chris felt that there was a need to develop privately owned accommodation that was totally set up to be accessibility friendly whilst also being a comfortable and an enjoyable holiday destination.

The design of Bundalee Cabin’s is wheelchair friendly and will also cater for people with an intellectual disability, for the aged care and people with vision impairment. The two cabins are north facing in a secluded, serene natural environment.
